Twitter’s saga with billionaire Elon Musk, marked by months of negotiations and contentious tweets, has made its way to the court system.

Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, agreed to buy the social media company for about $44 billion in April, saying he wanted to promote free speech on the site and “defeat the spam bots.” But less than three months later, he filed to terminate the deal after accusing Twitter of withholding information about the bot accounts on its site.
